Exploring where the Nightingales sing

This body of work was created for a community Nightingale research project at the Naturkunde Museum , Berlin,. Lead by the British Botanist Sarah Darwin, to research the increasing Nightingale population across the city. The work was exhibited in the museum as part of the project's concluding celebrations.

My work takes inspiration from the Nightingale’s urban environment and a poem written for the project by Erin Doyle. The work utlilises found paper media, rough textures and poetic handwriting to embody the city and its urban parks.
